Sonance vp80r1/8/2023 Is this equipment where I'm going to feel like "oh man, this is divine and worth every dollar" or will I forever be questioning if I paid more for my setup than I needed to? Would love opinions to help calibrate my expectations. And the JL sub alone is $1900! While Marantz is on Zeo's guide, Sonance and JL aren't in any of the guide posts. I haven't found much about Sonance, other than it's available to installers so I imagine he's marking them up a bit. This three-way audio system includes independently pivoting 8-inch woofers, 4-inch coaxial midrange cones and 1-inch tweeters for a frequency response range of 34Hz - 20kHz, ensuring precise tonal representation. Marantz seems to be the receiver you get when you want the best and aren't worried about the cost. Experience high volume levels and clarity with these ceiling-mounted Sonance Visual Performance speakers. But I do want a nice setup for watching movies with friends. So I don't want to drop a ton of cash just to get slight improvements. We don't watch a ton of TV/Movies, probably on order of 4hrs a week (usually a movie and a TV show). What an upgrade from my ancient 32" Vizio! Now it's time to upgrade the old refurbished Sony STR-K790 that I got a decade(?) ago. I got an LG OLED C7 for a decent price when the C8s came out. I'm looking to finally setup a decent home theater in our basement.
